BOBBI BROWN Long Wear Compact Foundation Review

All exams are over and i'll be free this whole December so expect to be spammed with blog updates :p
My love for Bobbi Brown products knows no boundaries.
I was swept away by their Creamy Matte Lipsticks and now this Foundation.
PRICE 46$
QUANTITY 8g

 PACKAGE-
Comes is a super sleek black compact package.
The lid has the brand name.
The layer containing foundation can be flipped up to reveal a tiny area for the sponge.
(forgot to add a pic of that)
Sponge applicator is washable.
But i avoid using it since i feel like sponges absorb too much of the products and leads to wastage.
SHADE-
I was matched to the shade "Beige".
It suits my tone perfectly.

 TEXTURE-
The compact foundation is creamy but very light.
I use a foundation brush to apply.
Spreads easily.
Non greasy/oily.
COVERAGE-
The compact foundation gives moderate coverage.
So for those who want full coverage / needs dark spot concealing, You can try layering.
However dark spots will need Concealer.
Can be build up and even then it doesn't look cakey.
STAYING POWER-
I tried wearing this in summer and though the name says Long Wear, i found that when the face gets oily the application gets little uneven (This was without applying setting powder.)
So i decided to give it a go in Winter and i must say i'm loving it.
Stays whole day without the need for touch ups.

 MY OPINION-
This compact foundation is so light i can barely tell the difference between my skin with and without foundation.(Except that WITH foundation, the skin is more even and flawless)
I also dab this with concealer brush on the tiny freckles on my cheeks and they are camouflaged well.
(Doesn't work for really dark spots)
Perfect for everyday wear-work,date and if you want to go for the no-make up look.
Gives a velvety smooth finish.
Best worn with a translucent fixing powder.
The only sad part would be the quantity is sooo less if you use it daily, i bet it will get over in 1-2 months :(
And oh the price :p
If i buy such an expensive Foundation i would expect it to last 4-5 months.
WOULD YOU BUY THIS?
